There are numerous environmental issues that command our immediate attention. Arun Krishnamurthy emphasizes on the need for Social Entrepreneurs to find innovative and sustainable solutions to India's environmental challenges related to water, wastes, and wildlife. He says, "Don't sit back and complain, It is the easiest thing to do but it is also the most boring thing to do". He urges everyone to explore, experience and become a social Entrepreneur and help build an India which focusses on creating sustainable solutions not only for human beings but for all lifeforms. Mr. Arun Krishnamurthy is a very good orator and an environmentalist and is the recipient of Jane Goodall Institute Global Youth Leadership award (2010), Google Alumni Impact award(2011) and Rolex Award for Enterprise(2012). The joy of observing and enjoying the beauty of nature in its most pristine forms is what motivated Arun Krishnamurthy to establish the Environmental Foundation of India.
